Two keys will be shipped per lock. As you will not be able to unlock this from the inside without a key, please check your local fire code to ensure this is allowed before purchasing. The deadbolt is thrown and retracted by a key from either side. Three or more items keyed alike will ship a total of 6 keys. Constructed of solid brass for durability and dependability, the double cylinder lock features Tested to exceed ANSI/BHMA Grade 1 security requirements and installs easily with all necessary mounting hardware included. It is covered by Kwikset's limited lifetime manufacturer specifications, with a Backset of Adjustable 2-3/8" or 2-3/4", a Cross Bore of 2-1/8", an Edge Bore of 1", and a Door Thickness range of 1-3/8" to 1-3/4". The lock is Reversible Left or Right, with an Interior Height of 2-5/8", an Interior Width of 2-5/8", an Interior Projection of 2-1/8", an Exterior Height of 2-5/8", an Exterior Width of 2-5/8", and an Exterior Projection of 2-1/8". The Latch Faceplate options include Drive-In, Round Corner, or Square Corner, and the Cylinder is a SmartKey 5 Pin KW1, SmartKey. Double cylinder locks are keyed on both sides of the door and can only be locked and unlocked via a key. Please check local codes before installing.
